I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Custom Classics

I moved from Birmingham to Barry six years ago, and brought my 1976 VW Bay Window camper (Melvyn) with me. I was a bit worried over whether I would be able to find a decent place to take Melvyn to carry out routine maintenance and repairs that I was able to do myself. So I was very pleased to find Custom Classics on Barry Docks. Melvyn has now gone to a new owner, but over the six years I’ve had no hesitation in taking him to Gavin for both mechanical and body work. These older vehicles are a breed apart from modern stuff, and with the VW Type 2, there are many variations. Custom Classics were very knowledgeable, and seemed to know all of the little variations that the different build years encompassed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to other classic vehicle enthusiasts.
